No longer our battle cry for the future…
Just a ghostly thought from the past…
Give me liberty or give me my entitlement,
Give me what the government owes me,
I want my due from Uncle Sam…don’t you?
He owes me for it is my right to have all I can,
He owes my children everything…understand?
This is my reason for living in this nation,
This is my focus for draining your taxation,
I demand my equal payment for I am a citizen.

Give me what lies within my heart’s passion,
I want my due from Uncle Sam…don’t you?
He owes me for a past of utter poverty,
He owes me minimum wages…understand?
This is the reason we struggle to survive,
This is my focus for keeping government alive,
I demand my rightful share for I am a citizen!
Give me liberty or government backed education,
Give me welfare dollars for my family separation,
I want my due from Uncle Sam…don’t you?
He owes me, mine and all who dare to follow,
He owes me for daily struggle…understand?
This is the reason our family dies in foreign lands,
This is why I sacrifice so you will meet all my demands,
I demand my rightful share for I am a citizen!
